He stepped on the stage confidently. His young, lovely face was shining with a dim smile articulating a great determination. It was his turn to try a weight which none of his competitors could lift.
Mr. Hossein Rezazadeh , the most powerful man on the world, located behind the weight. He had worn his usual shirt with a big word in Arabic on its front side: O, Abulfadl.
Concerned and anxious, all the spectators gazed at him whose face was expressing peace and calmness. He bent down, fitted his hands on the rod of the weight, clenched it firmly and with a quick movement lifted it on his hands.
Astonished and amazed, the saloon exploded with an intense cheering. Still keeping the weight above his head, he nodded to respond to the people's feelings toward him. Then put the weight down and raised his hands to thank God. then he lifted the word on his shirt toward his lips and kissed it several times to show that the heart of the most powerful man which recalls rocks in firmness, is beating with passion for Abulfadl Al-Abbas the man of power and love.
Abulfadl is regarded as the model of politeness, innocence and loyalty by every body who knows him. He personified all virtues in his life. While he was so attractive that was known as the moon of Hashim's sons, he was so strong, brave and good at warfare techniques that no warlike dared to confront him. In the tragedy of Karbala he accompanied his brother and leader Imam Husain
(p.b.u.h) and held the banner of Imam's side. Imam Husain's caravan, including men, women, and children of his family, was outnumbered in Karbala. Their enemy was so crud and stonyhearted that prevented them to have access to the river so they did not have water to quench their thirst in that burning desert. Abulfadl who saw the children's crying and thirst went towards the river which was surrounded by the enemy and with a great transcendence penetrated through them and reached the river. It was very hot and he was so thirsty that his hands went towards the water involuntarily. He took a handful of water and lifted it near his dry lips but suddenly he remembered his brother and thirsty children so he poured the water back, then he filled the goatskin in which they used to keep water and rushed his horse towards the camp but enemy's soldiers who lied in ambush for him behind date-palm trees attached him and cut his right hand but he kept the goatskin by his left hand. Enemy didn’t want that water to reach the camp, so they cut his left hand too. Abulfadl still did not lose his hope and clenched the goatskin with his teeth but they shot an arrow which hit the goatskin and all the water poured on the ground just like his hope. The champion did not have any hand to hold the sword and fight so they seized the time and surrounded him by their swords, spears, arrows and even stones….Abulfadl, the moon of Hashem's sons set in the red horizon of blood and fell down on the hot sand of Karbala and hopelessly called his brother. Imam Husain hurried towards his brother but….. It was too late. Imam Husain could not bring Abolfadl's body back to camp because they cut him in pieces cruelly. Abulfadl was killed but his shrine and his beautiful golden dome glows in Karbala and above all, his glorious sacrifice flames in every heart which is beating for beauty and human values.
